Open Metadata; Libraries & Open Science
OMLOS 2025 - Pacific Rim
May 12-13, 2025 | National Library of Korea
Libraries today face two separate but related opportunities: how to best support the growing movement towards open science, and advancing open metadata–metadata that is in the public domain or explicitly licensed for reuse–to support innovation and services. OMLOS will be a two day symposium and workshop with an international panel of experts to explore both of these trends.
This event is hosted by the National Library of Korea in honor of its 80th anniversary, and is co-organized by the Stanford University Libraries.
The National Library of Korea is located at 201 Banpo-daero (Banpo-dong), in the Seocho District of Seoul, South Korea. Learn more about the traveling to the Library. Click here for a map.
