Tom Cramer

Stanford University, Associate University Librarian, Digital Library Systems & Services

Tom Cramer leads the development of digital library services supporting teaching, learning, and research. This includes overseeing systems like SearchWorks and the Stanford Digital Repository, as well as digitization programs. Additionally, he is involved in various open-source digital library initiatives, such as IIIF, Samvera, and Fedora Repository, and has a strong presence in the digital preservation and interoperability community, serving on steering committees and holding leadership roles in organizations like PASIG, Open Repositories, and the Open Library Foundation.

Rochelle Lundy

Stanford University, Director, Office of Scholarly Communications

Rochelle Lundy is the Director of the Office of Scholarly Communications at Stanford University Libraries. She coordinates services related to scholarly publishing, copyright, and open access, including implementation of Stanford University’s open Access policy and support for public access to funded research outputs. Prior to her career in academic libraries, she worked as an attorney specializing in copyright and media litigation.

Simeon Warner

Cornell University, Associate University Librarian and Director of IT

Simeon Warner is the Associate University Librarian and Director of IT at Cornell University Library. His responsibilities include oversight of IT operations, user experience, web programming, digital preservation, and open scholarly publishing. He has a particular interest in interoperability between information systems and the development of standards and collaborations to facilitate that. Warner’s current work includes digital preservation (OCFL), evolution of the FOLIO library services platform, use of linked open data for description and discovery of library resources (LD4L/LD4P), image and A/V interoperability (IIIF), and repositories for open-access scholarly publishing (including work with Samvera and ORCID). Past projects include technical direction of the arXiv e-print archive and development of the OAI-PMH and ResourceSync standards.

Jason Kovari

Cornell University, Associate University Librarian for Technical Services

Jason Kovari serves as Associate University Librarian for Collections and Technical Services at Cornell University, where he oversees policy around collection development and ensures timely access to collections. Relevant to open metadata, Jason has worked on linked open data initiatives for over a decade, focusing primarily on ontology development to extend BIBFRAME for use in the special collections community. His commitment to open metadata reflects his dedication to facilitating broad access to research collections.

Wayne Graham

Council on Library & Information Resources (CLIR), CIO & Director of International Cultural Networks

Wayne Graham is the Chief Information Officer and Director of Informatics, Cultural Networks, and Knowledge Systems at the Council on Library and Information Resources. He brings a unique blend of technical expertise and passion for cultural heritage to the climate resiliency field. With experience leading open-source projects such as the Digital Library of the Middle East and Neatline, he has developed innovative solutions that leverage technology to advance research and knowledge sharing in the humanities. His specialization in spatial humanities, 3D environments, and high-performance computing environments positions him well to explore new ways to visualize and analyze climate-related data and develop digital tools supporting community-based planning and decision-making.

Bianca Kramer

Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information, Executive Director

Bianca Kramer is Executive Director of the Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information, an initiative she helped organize and coordinate. Bianca has a background in research communication and libraries, having worked as scholarly communication/open science librarian at Utrecht University Library for 15 years, before moving to an independent consulting/research analyst role at Sesame Open Science, with a focus on open science, open metadata and open infrastructure - a role she combines with her activities for the Barcelona Declaration.

Chris Morrison

University of Oxford, Copyright & Licensing Specialist, Bodleian Libraries

Chris Morrison is the Head of Copyright & Licensing at the Bodleian Libraries, University of Oxford, responsible for copyright licensing, policy, education and support. He started his career in the music industry and has held copyright related roles at the British Library and the University of Kent. He is co-author (with Dr Jane Secker) of the book Copyright and E-Learning a Guide for Practitioners (2nd Edition, Facet), co-founded the blog copyrightliteracy.org and associated podcast Copyright Waffle, and is originator of Copyright the Card Game. He has a masters with distinction in copyright law from King’s College London.

Amy Warner May

 University of Oxford, Associate Director of Scholarly Resources, Bodleian Libraries

Amy Warner May joined Oxford in 2018 as the Associate Director of Scholarly Resources. In late 2019, Amy was responsible for the restructuring of Scholarly Resources to enable it to provide enhanced support for Open Access and Open Scholarship, Research Data Management and Digital Collections, as well as to ensure Scholarly Resources will be better placed to respond to and help lead future changes within these areas. Before Amy joined Oxford, she was the Associate Director of eStrategy and Technical Services in the Library at Royal Holloway, University of London and previously worked at the National Archives at Kew.

Crossref, Chief Program Officer

In 2015, Ginny Hendricks established the community and membership functions at Crossref which encompassed community engagement & comms, member experience, technical support, and metadata strategy. In 2024 she developed the Program group as our CPO and incorporated product/program management within the group. Before joining Crossref, she ran ‘Ardent’ for a decade, where she consulted within scholarly communications for awareness and growth strategies, developed and launched online products, and built virtual global communities. In 2018 she founded the Metadata 20/20 collaboration to advocate for richer, connected, reusable, and open metadata, and she helps guide several open infrastructure initiatives such as ROR and POSI. She recently co-founded FORCE11’s Upstream community blog for all things open research, and she was an early contributor to the Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information.

Rocío Gaudioso Pedraza

Crossref, Community Engagement Manager

Rocío joined Crossref in March 2025 focused on engaging funder members. Prior to that, she worked as an Open Science policy analyst at Frontiers and developed and managed funding policy at UK Research and Innovation, a UK research funder. A biotechnologist by training, she holds a PhD in Plant Science from the University of Leeds. In her spare time, you’ll find her at the library or learning how to quilt.

Hannah Hillen

Thoth Open Metadata, Metadata & Publisher Outreach Specialist

Hannah Hillen is Metadata & Publisher Outreach Specialist at Thoth Open Metadata. She works closely with small publishers, onboarding and supporting them in use of the Thoth platform and services. She also works on building partnerships and implementing dissemination channels between Thoth and platforms throughout the global book supply chain. 

Javier Arias

Thoth Open Metadata, CTO

Javier Arias is CTO of Thoth Open Metadata, where he leads the development of open-source infrastructure for open-access books. His work focuses on building scalable metadata and publishing systems that advance openness and sustainability in scholarly communication.

Dione Mentis

DataCite, Project Lead for Community Metadata Enrichment

Dione Mentis is responsible for project coordination on DataCite’s metadata enrichment activities and collaborations, including COMET. Prior to DataCite, Dione served as COO and Senior Architect at the Coko Foundation, where she led large-scale, open-source development projects for NCBI (NIH) and BioInteractive (HHMI), as well as Coko community book publishing platforms. Her background includes extensive experience in the publishing sector both globally and locally in South Africa.

Tiziana Possemato

Casalini Group and Share Family, Chief Information Officer

Tiziana Possemato is a metadata specialist; she has led numerous national and international projects focused on library automation, catalog data analysis, mapping, and conversion, as well as the design of information retrieval systems. Her work emphasizes Linked Open Data and the Semantic Web. She actively participates in various working groups within IFLA, AIB and other international professional organizations.

Tiziana is partner and director of @Cult (Casalini Libri Group), and the author of numerous publications in the field of library and information science.

Mark Paris

Brandeis University, University Librarian for Scholarly Resources & Discovery

Mark Paris brings over two decades of expertise to his role. With ten years at Brandeis and twelve years in the corporate sector, Mark oversees the library's collections, including budget management, metadata, scholarly communications, interlibrary loan, and library systems. His diverse experience enhances his ability to manage collections, negotiate with vendors, and optimize budgets. Throughout his tenure, Mark has led several innovative projects, including the implementation of new platforms supporting scholarly communications, digital collections, and interlibrary loan. Mark's collaborative leadership has fostered strong partnerships across the university as well as with external partners.

 Kalli Mathios

Stanford University, Authorities & Entity Management Librarian

Kalliopi Mathios is the Authorities & Entity Management Librarian at Stanford University, where she advances linked open data initiatives within the Stanford community and beyond. She is the Product Owner and Project Manager for the Sinopia linked data editor and the Blue Core project. She serves as Co-Convener of the PCC Sinopia Cataloging Affinity Group, Chair of the LD4 Steering Committee, and Chair of the BIBFRAME Interoperability Group and Co-Chair of the FOLIO Linked Open Data SIG. She actively participates in the the Share-VDE UX/UI Working Group, WikiProject:Ontology, and the AI4LAM Metadata Working Group.

Jeremy Nelson

Stanford University, Library Systems Software Developer

Jeremy Nelson is a software engineer at Stanford University Libraries. He is on the team that migrated Stanford to FOLIO and is active developer in the Sinopia Linked Data Editor and Blue Core projects. His research interests include applying AI to improving library workflows.

Svein Arne Brygfjeld

National Library of Norway, Head of NB AI Lab

Svein Arne has a long history at the National Library of Norway. He has been deeply involved on digital strategies, and he has previously been leading the deveopment of the NLN digital library for some years. His work experience also includes health care, telecom and startups.Svein Arne is currently engaged in the AI community work within AI4LAM, and he is leading the AI-lab at the National Library of Norway with focus on applications of AI in libraries, archives and museums.
